- Specs
This 35X zoom camera is the latest addition to our line up of OEM products, and a compact chassis camera design for surveillance of various applications under a wide range of light conditions. High-contrast conditions can be viewed without glare or loss of detail thanks to the wide dynamic range design. The wide-dynamic range, the high-sensitivity, and the 35X zoom, make this is ideal for industrial applications.
* The 35X and the 10X zoom blocks require an interface board and software to operate. See the RHP-OEMPCB-01-KIT for this solution.
Included with each camera is a 114mm 9 Conductor Flexible Flat Cable 1.0 mm pitch (P/N: FFC-9-1-114mm)
Sold Separately:
140mm 9 Conductor Flexible Flat Cable 1.0 mm pitch (P/N: FFC-9-1-140mm)
200mm 9 Conductor Flexible Flat Cable 1.0 mm pitch (P/N: FFC-9-1-200mm)
PCB Mount connectors available at DigiKey:
Horizontal Mount w/Flip-Lock: HFB109CT-ND
Vertical Surface Mount: 455-1928-1-ND
Zoom Ratio
With the powerful 35X optical zoom lens, a user can monitor a scene from any angle.
Combined with the 12X digital zoom, the zoom
ratio is x000.
Recording Direct
Record high quality video directly to your hard
drive. No more grainy images and
lines with progressive recording.
This new function allows clearer and better quality
video.
Image Stabilization
The EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) function allows for a clean
video viewing experience. Automatically eliminates
blurry and jumpy images. This 35X zoom can
be mounted in a vehicle to give crisp, easy-to view
images.
Wide Dynamic Range
The wide dynamic range technology
uses two shutter speeds in alternative video
fields and combines two fields into one
progressive scan frame. The highly sensitive
F1.4 lens allows detailed capture of images
even in a mixture of over-bright and dark
scenes.
Progressive Recording:
What is required for progressive recording direct to the HDD? The progressive scan CCD on the RHP-35X-OEM has a function called Frame Output.
With the Frame Output function (only available in progressive processing mode) the camera
will output the 2 interlaced output fields from the same CCD "frame" (i.e. readout). If the camera
output is fed to a frame-mode DVR/NVR or Video Capture card, the sequence of recorded
frames will have no interlace artifacts of motion displacement if the scene had motion in it.
The down side is that you are only seeing every other CCD output so the image in live mode looks choppy. However, the benefit is that the recorded frames have no litter and will also have twice the vertical resolution. It is crucial that the field order (odd/even vs even/odd) of the camera be matched to the DVR/NVR or capture card or else the motion jitter will be twice as bad. The output field order in our cameras is programmable via software commands. This Frame Output mode is only meant for the above, not for normal live CCTV viewing.
